Join Pat as she teaches you the beginning steps and techniques to free-motion quilting. You need to bring a machine that has feed dogs that can be lowered - and you're all set!

We're excited to offer a 2-day workshop by nationally known quilter Anelie Belden! This class, based on her book "Thoroughly Modern Dresden", offers you the chance to learn Anelie's breakthrough piecing techniques to put together your OWN Dresden Plate quilt! Change up the look of your quilt with lots of variations based on the original Dresden Plate block and setting.

Have you taken an Intro to Quilting class and want more? This is your next step. Beginning Quilting 2 expands on the techniques you have already learned. In addition, you will be introduced to applique, paper piecing, sewing intricate angles, as well as techniques for faster cutting and piecing. This class is great for confident beginners and beyond! You are sure to walk away with many new tips and tricks.

How does an evening JUST TO SEW sound to you? Sound any better if we say we're also serving you soup for dinner? Come sew with us! Bring your UFO (unfinished object) or your PIG (project in grocery bag) and Get 'Er Done!! Oh yes, and also bring something to drink with dinner! This will be a fun evening to make some progress on your own project(s), without interruption, and with someone ELSE making your dinner.

Who would know that these cats' tails are actually Snail's Trail Blocks?! This class is based on a unique pattern for spinning cats of all colors - who encroach on the border on all 4 sides of the quilt. Choose cat colors, or maybe all different colors of polka dots, or spin your cats on a dark background! You choose! This is a fun class to practice accurate piecing, ruler use, and learn a unique border technique. Finished quilt measures approximately 64" x 80".

Want to try free motion quilting with rulers, but not sure where to start? You can look like a pro after taking this class! Lorraine will teach all the ends and outs of quilting with rulers and share her tips. By the end of the class you'll be quilting with ease - of course you will still want to practice lots! This class can open up a whole new world for you.

Love Flying Geese and want to learn how to make them or how to perfect your accuracy? This is your class! We'll review several methods for construction, and you can pick the method you like best. We love the Bloc_Loc Flying Geese rulers, and you'll have a chance to give these a try. The class project is a lap quilt, but you are welcome to morph the geese into placemats, a table runner, or even a different size quilt.
