Beginning Machine Embroidery - The Basics

It's time to start getting the most out of your new Bernina sewing machine and embroidery module.  In this two-day class you will learn the basics of what you need to know to confidently begin machine embroidering.

The morning of the first day will focus on terminology, products, and techniques.  In the afternoon you will become familiar with the free Bernina software program, ArtLink 8.  It allows you to convert various designs you may already have to the proper format for your machine, print out design worksheets, watch how the design will stitch out, and numerous other features.  You will also learn how to load designs onto your machine and access the many designs that are stored on it.  The second day will be devoted to stitching three embroidery projects.

If the class is "sold out" please call the shop at 541.385.7166 to be placed on a waiting list. When there are three or more on the waiting list, another class will be added.
